AbettorBot Color System Usage Guide

This page acts as a guide on how to use AbettorBot’s Color System as a member in a server.

Firstly, if you can’t decide what color you’d like to use, try out the a!randomcolor command!
Otherwise, if you’ve got a color in mind, you can see what it looks like using the a!color HEXCODE command.
Some examples are shown below.

If the server you’re in allows you to create colors yourself…

To create your own color, use the a!createcolor hexcode name command, such as the example below:

If the server you’re in doesn’t allow you to name your roles, or if you don’t want to, you can skip the name argument:

If you’d like to pick from some roles that already exist, you can use a!colorlist to see the existing roles. To see what one of those roles looks like, use the a!rolecolor rolename command. The embed color on the response will match the color of the role you requested.

To set your color, use the a!setcolor colorname command.

Otherwise…

If the server you’re in doesn’t let you create roles, you’ll only be able to pick from a list of already created colors. You can see what colors are available with the a!colorlist command.

To see what a role looks like, use the a!roleinfo colorname command. The color of the embed will match that of the role.

To assign a role to yourself, use a!setcolor rolename.
